This Friday, June 17, 2016 at 10/9c, Attorney Alan Schimmel will be featured on ABC’s 20/20 to talk about rehabilitation center abuse.
As you may recall from our previous blog, Schimmel & Parks, APLC is representing plaintiffs in a lawsuit against the founder and operator of a Los Angeles-based alcohol and drug rehabilitation center. The defendant, Chris Bathum, is accused of supplying his patients with drugs, coercing them to overdose, and sexually assaulting them. Now, these brave women are coming forward to talk about their experience and warn others.
What should have been a stepping stone toward healing and health was a nightmare for these women. Thinking they were going to get the help they needed to overcome their addictions, they placed their trust into the hands of someone who appallingly betrayed it. Schimmel & Parks, APLC is working hard to ensure that justice is served in this case.
